Maldives resorts sell a portion of their unsold overwater villas and beach villas at net rates — well below their public retail price — through Closed User Group (CUG) channels. These rates are legally protected: they can only be shown to verified members of private platforms.
Maldives Escape operates as a CUG platform. When you join, you access villa rates on top-rated Maldives resorts 10–25% below Booking.com public prices. Same resort, same villa, same dates — just a better price because you're booking through a member channel.
The best availability windows are 60–90 days out for peak season (November–April) and 7–14 days out for last-minute green season deals. Green season (May–October) has the deepest discounts.

Members typically save 10–25% compared to Booking.com or direct booking prices. On an overwater villa at $800/night, that's $80–$200 saved per night. Savings are highest during green season (May–October) when resorts discount heavily to fill capacity.
Do I need a minimum stay? ▼
No minimum stay is required for any resort listed on Maldives Escape. Many resorts do have their own policies — we show those clearly before you book — but we don't impose any additional minimum stay requirement.
Is membership free? ▼
Yes, completely free. No subscription fees, no booking fees on top of the rate. You pay the member villa rate — that's it.
Which atolls are covered? ▼
North and South Malé Atolls (closest to the airport, best for short trips) and Baa Atoll (UNESCO Biosphere Reserve, world-class snorkelling) are live now. More atolls coming soon.
What about seaplane transfers? ▼
Seaplane transfers are typically booked separately directly with the resort or through their recommended partner. We show transfer information for each resort so you can plan your full budget before booking.
