Maldives resorts sell a portion of their unsold overwater villas and beach villas at net rates — well below their public retail price — through exclusive distribution channels. These rates are legally protected: they can only be shown to exclusive distribution channels.

Maldives Escape operates as a CUG platform. When you join, you access villa rates on top-rated Maldives resorts below what public booking platforms show. Same resort, same villa, same dates — just a better price because you're booking through a exclusive channel.

The best availability windows are 60–90 days out for peak season (November–April) and 7–14 days out for last-minute green season deals. Green season (May–October) has the deepest discounts.

Savings vary by resort, date, and villa type — typically 8–15% vs the suggested retail rate. The best deals appear during green season (May–October) when resorts release more inventory at deeper discounts.
Do I need a minimum stay? ▼
No minimum stay is required for any resort listed on Maldives Escape. Many resorts do have their own policies — we show those clearly before you book — but we don't impose any additional minimum stay requirement.
Are there any hidden fees? ▼
No. The price shown is the price you pay. No subscription fees, no booking fees on top of the rate. Taxes and service charges are included in the displayed price where applicable.
Which atolls are covered? ▼
North and South Malé Atolls (closest to the airport, best for short trips) and Baa Atoll (UNESCO Biosphere Reserve, world-class snorkelling) are live now. More atolls coming soon.
What about seaplane transfers? ▼
Seaplane transfers are typically booked separately directly with the resort or through their recommended partner. We show transfer information for each resort so you can plan your full budget before booking.
Is Maldives Escape a legitimate booking platform? ▼
Yes. Maldives Escape operates as a exclusive distribution (CUG) booking platform. We source resort inventory through LiteAPI — the same B2B hotel distribution network that powers Booking.com, Expedia, and Hotels.com. When you book, the resort receives your reservation directly. You get a resort confirmation number and your booking appears in the resort's system, just as it would with any major OTA.
How can you offer rates below public prices? ▼
Maldives resorts release a portion of their inventory at net rates through exclusive distribution channels. These rates are contractually restricted from public display. Through Maldives Escape, you gain access as a verified user and unlock net rates below what public sites can show. Same resort, same villa, same dates — just a different distribution channel.
Is it safe to enter my credit card? ▼
Yes. All payments are processed through a PCI DSS-compliant payment gateway — the same standard used by Booking.com and Expedia. Your card details are encrypted with 256-bit SSL and are never stored on our servers. The payment form is handled by our booking partner's secure infrastructure, so your card number never touches Maldives Escape's systems.

1. About Maldives Escape

Maldives Escape is a membership hotel booking platform operated by Maldives Escape. We act as an intermediary between you and the hotel — we are not the hotel and do not provide accommodation directly. All bookings are fulfilled by the hotel through our distribution partner, LiteAPI.

2. Membership

Membership is free. By joining, you gain access to below-retail hotel rates available through Closed User Group (CUG) distribution channels. We reserve the right to suspend or terminate memberships that are used fraudulently or in breach of these terms.

3. Pricing and payments

All prices shown to members are inclusive of applicable taxes and fees unless otherwise stated. Prices are sourced live from hotel inventory systems and may change at any time until a booking is confirmed. Payment is collected at the time of booking through a PCI-compliant payment gateway operated by our distribution partner. Maldives Escape does not store your payment card details.

4. Bookings

When you complete a booking, you enter into a contract with the hotel (not with Maldives Escape). You will receive a booking confirmation with a hotel reference number. Maldives Escape facilitates the booking but is not a party to your accommodation contract.

5. Cancellations and refunds

Cancellation policies vary by hotel and rate type. The applicable cancellation policy is displayed during the booking process before you confirm payment. If you need to cancel, contact us with your booking reference or use the My Bookings page to cancel directly. Refunds, where applicable, are processed to the original payment method and may take 5–10 business days to appear.

6. Our role and liability

Maldives Escape provides a platform to access hotel rates. We are not responsible for the hotel's services, facilities, or conduct. We make reasonable efforts to ensure rate accuracy, but errors may occasionally occur. In such cases, we will contact you to offer an alternative or a full refund. Our total liability to you in connection with any booking shall not exceed the amount you paid for that booking.

7. Member conduct

Member rates are for personal use only. You may not resell, redistribute, or publicly display member rates. Sharing rates publicly may result in termination of your membership.

8. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. Continued use of Maldives Escape after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.

9. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
